I continue to love the bits and pieces of lore in these dialogue interactions. Seeing Chloe want to break out of her ‘richer than thou’ attitude is incredibly satisfying, especially with how prejudiced Neo Domino started.

cannot stress enough that this poor woman was set up as a whole new character who was a competent capable and clever woman in her own right and was immediately sidelined in favour of a teenage blonde girl who wasn't even there and made to pine over her best friend for the entire series she was in. then she saved the world from his ex and he sobbed when his (mass murderer) ex died, in front of her
She's absolutely brilliant, one of the bravest, strongest companions we ever see in the show. And for most of her storylines, all her traits get sidelined so that she can be the Doctor's rebound after he loses Rose. She's a doctor in her own right! She spends her last few episodes surviving a sort of hell most other companions can't even dream of! but the narrative itself still reduces her to "lovesick girl" SO frequently

Hopes for the live action Barbie movie
Things I am positive will happen:
- Zebra print swimsuit
- A nutcracker in the background of a set
- At least one reference to ballet
- Regardless of whether or not the sisters actually make an appearance, I expect a joke about no one being able to remember whether the youngest sister is named Kelly or Chelsea
- Obviously, I'd like to see all of the friends, but I think the most likely to appear are Midge and Teresa since Midge was the first doll friend and I'm pretty sure Teresa is the one who has appeared most consistently across the animated projects
- Magical dress transformation
Things I don't actually expect to happen, but they'd be very fun and I don't think they're unreasonable asks:
- Brooklyn!!!!!!
- Posters for the animated movies as part of the set design a la Fashion Fairytale
- Versions of some of the more iconic dresses from the animated movies- not necessarily being worn, maybe just seen in a closet like in Spy Squad
- At least one song from an animated project featured in the soundtrack, with Anything is Possible by Fifth Harmony from Life in the Dreamhouse being the most likely
- Lesbian Skipper, which I know seems like a big ask for Mattel, but they just made one of the main characters of Monster High nonbinary, so why not?
- Homoerotic rivalry with Raquelle
- If they can get them, I'd love to see Kelly Sheridan, Dianna Kaarina, Erica Lindbeck, Kate Higgins, and America Young have cameos
Chazz comes out to the Ojamas first on a whim at 3am as like practice and they're all aggressively and enthusiastically supportive as per usual so he just gets embarrassed and has to tell them to violently shut up and after a few minutes of this when he is finally satisfied with himself for completing the treacherous mission of saying words out loud one of them finally asks him what "bisexual" even means
